At Radancy we already created a career website for VodafoneZiggo. But they wanted a new award winning website. With this goal in mind the creative team started wireframing an designing this new website. It was clear to meet the expectations, the frontend techstack needed to be modernised. The frontend techstack was changed to Vue with API based communication with the backend.

The frontend for this website has been created by me from scratch. At first there were a lot of structural changes that needed to be made. For example; transition to Vue, API based comminucation, VueX storage, SPA page rendering, viewport transitions, etc.

After that step i created the website component by component, working tight with the creatives to create those nice transitions and hover effects.

The whole website gives the user a rich user experience, but the features below are the nicest and most challenging features of the website:

• Vacancies overview
  The vacancies overview uses API fetches to show the results based on the filters. The search field also contains elastic search suggestions.
• Rich components
  All components have viewport transitions, and some interaction, for example:
  • Carousel video player. In the video player the subtitles are read from a .vtt file and shown with vue transitions.
  • Card slider with viewport transitions.
  • Svg path animations to show digits, continious shape animations.
• Apply with whatsapp
  Fullscreen modal where the user fills in his phonenumber.
• Referrals
  This is an account based section for employees where they can earn points by sharing and referring.

This is the end result: https://careers.vodafoneziggo.com. The website is live for 3 years already, but still looks modern with nice transitions and effects, giving the user a rich user experience.
